Kadhi Pakora is a very common recipe in Indian households. It is a very good idea for lunch in any season.
1.5 Cup gram flour
2 Cups lassi
1 Tablespoon cumin seeds
3 Tablespoon ghee
1/2 Tablespoon turmeric
1 Tablespoon red chilli powder
Salt as taste
1 Tablespoon coriander powder
1 Inch ginger
2 Cloves garlic
1/2 Tablespoon garam masala
2 Tablespoon coriander leaves
2 Cup water
1/2 Tablespoon fenugreek seeds
Oil for frying
How to prepare
Mix lassi, gram flour, and salt together and keep aside.
Now, mix sliced onion, red chilli, gram flour, salt, baking powder and chopped coriander leaves. Make a thick batter with the help of water.
Thereafter, heat the oil in a pan and drop spoon-full of batter into it. Deep fry the pakodas over medium flame, till they turn golden brown and keep aside.
Heat ghee in another pan, and add cumin seeds and fenugreek seeds. Saute on medium flame for a few seconds.
Then, add ginger paste, garlic paste, red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala, and turmeric, along with the lassi-besan mixture. Mix well.
Stir and cook on medium flame for 20 minutes now.
Add pakoras when done and garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
