Meatball Curry

Meatball curryMeatball Curry is a superb dish to serve your guests, along with Chappathi or Rotis, Appam, Neer dosa, Naan in addition to Idiyappam. 


250 gms Minced meat 
3 Tomatoes (blanched and minced)
Small piece Ginger
1/2 tsp Coriander seeds 
2 Cloves 
2 Onions (minced)
100 gms Peas 
6-7 Flakes garlic
2 tbsp Ghee/Oil
2 Red Chilies whole 
Small sick cinnamon 

For Garnishing

Coriander leaves 
Garma masala 

How to prepare

Grind minced meat in a grinder until sticky. Transfer it to a bowl. Add salt and red chilli powder. Mix well and divide the minced meat into six equal parts and roll out into balls. Keep aside.

Now, grind the whole spice, ginger, and garlic. Heat oil in a pan and fry onions and the ground masala and stir for few minutes. Add the half cup of water gives it a boil. Then, add the Koftas, stir very gently, cover the pan with the lid and cook Koftas for 8-10 minutes on a low flame. Add tomato pulp and cook on low flame for 2-3 minutes.
